Aloha Riding Lessons is proud to offer year round horseback riding lessons in multiple disciplines in the gorgeous Koko Crater located in Hawaii Kai.
With over 35+ years experience in the industry as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Business Management & Instruction from the prestigious St. Andrews University, our instructors are top notch and proven to bring out the best in your equestrian experience. No matter if you are just starting out on your equestrian journey or furthering your skills, we welcome all ages and skill levels!
Awesome Activities For Adults
Here at ARL, adults seeking a deeper connection with horses can indulge in a variety of hands-on experiences, whether they prefer to ride or engage with horses on the ground through grooming, lunging, and liberty work. Additionally, we offer unique adult-focused social events combined with horseback riding lessons, painting classes focused on equine art, and specialized "riding for stress reduction/weight loss" programs to enrich both body and soul.

Aloha Riding Lessons inside the Koko Crater and Botanical Gardens is the ultimate destination for those who love horses, and want to learn more in a gorgeous outdoor setting. If you are looking for a new hobby, a fun sport, or a challenge in the saddle to become more active in your lifestyle, we are the right place foryou. We offer first-class facilities for equestrian learning of all levels and disciplines, located in an incredible botanical gardens in the heart of Honolulu on the island of Oahu. We are the ideal destination for year round riding and all things horses. At this time we do not offer trail rides but we are happy to refer you to one of our favorite locations.
From Barn to Beyond: Developing Well-Rounded Equestrians at Aloha Riding Lessons
Aloha Riding Lessons is a fun, active barn with lots of learning opportunities both in the saddle and on the ground. We are committed to creating well-rounded and knowledgeable equestrians of all levels who are upstanding, commendable citizens outside of the barn. Just ask our "Barn Rat" kids who are always around the barn!
Classic Principles, Modern Practices: The ARL Equestrian Program
We have combined the US Pony Club, 4H, and other curricula to come up with our very own
hybrid of standardized education. Our day-to-day instruction, clinics, and camps reflect the whole horsemanship is the best in the saddle and our goal because,

At Aloha Riding Lessons our program combines both riding and horsemanship lessons following the highest standards and guidelines of the equestrian federation to make the whole horseman/horsewoman.
