Introductory/Evaluation Lesson
Here at Aloha Riding Lessons we cater to a diverse age group, offering riding lessons for individuals as young as 3 and up to 90+ years old.
During your 1-hour meet-and-greet introductory lesson you will get to know the team here at Aloha Riding Lessons. We will also get to understand you, your interests, horse-related experience, and equestrian goals. This gives our instructors the chance to understand how you learn best, so that we can pair you with the best equine partners to help you reach your horse-related goals and in the safest manner.
While there is no riding during your evaluation lesson for safety reasons, we will teach you a full hour of horse information! The ground lesson will include safety, learning to read a horse, haltering/leading, a mini grooming session, and tacking if time permits. During this time you will have the chance to also speak to our instructors regarding your goals and expectations. This is a time you can get all your questions answered, so bring those with you. Also, you'll be able to tour the facilities, and meet our horses as well as see how we do things at the stables. We will determine if Aloha Riding Lessons is a place where you and your family might be happy learning about horses, riding, and more to join our ohana.
Our instructors are trained to work with riders from beginner to advanced levels, ensuring a fit for every skill set in a multitude of disciplines like Dressage, Equitation, Hunter/Jumper, Eventing, English & Western Pleasure, Saddleseat, Gaited, Trails, Liberty, just to name a few.
