PARADE 11/30/2024 RSVP

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer—because we’re marching in the Hawaii Kai Parade on November 30, 2024, and YOU'RE INVITED!  This is going to be a fun-filled, festive day where we show off our stables and share the holiday spirit with the community. 

Here’s everything you need to know:

*MEET: at the stables at 9:00 AM sharp, we will then head to the elementary school on Hawaii Kai Drive for holding until the parade starts. Last year they locked the gate so if people can carpool that may be more efficient. At the end of the parade there will be a free carnival for kids with games and some exciting entertainment.

Cost: FREE—just bring your festive vibes!
Who’s Invited: All ARL students and their families & friends (the more, the merrier!)

We’ll have a beautifully decorated float, and this year, we’re bringing our mini horses to walk in the parade!  Want to be one of the lucky students to walk a mini? Sign up for No Stirrups November, and you could be chosen for this special role! It is not too late!!

What to Wear:
Let’s make this parade extra merry with your best holiday attire! Think:

• Santa hats 
• Reindeer antlers 
• Red, white, and green everything! 
  You can also wear one of our Aloha Riding Lessons T-shirts (light blue with our ARL logo). They’re perfect for showing off our stable pride! 

After the Parade:
We’re keeping the party going with a potluck at the stables to celebrate together!  Bring a dish to share and enjoy some good food with your ARL family. Plus, we’ll have a fun group lesson for students—what better way to finish the day than with horses and friends?! We will leave time in between the end if any of the kids want to go to the carnival first at Koko Marina. 

To help us plan and make sure we have enough space for everyone, please sign up on our website under the “Parade” section. This helps us get an accurate headcount for the parade, potluck, and lesson. Again, this is a free event and we would love to have 100% turn out!
